The photo I used as my anchor photo ... is not of me. It is of my cousin, Scott Snyder, who is a cancer survivor. This photo was taken in June 2013. I was a crew member while he raced in the Race Across America. I looked through all of my bicycling associated photos, and could not find a better picture to depict "the challenge ahead of us". At this point in the race, we were in the California desert, it was over 110 degrees, it was still mid-morning, and we hadn't slept in over 24 hours. Thanks Scott, for providing the picture perfect reminder of moving towards the challenges ahead. When facing challenges, we have to keep the pedals rolling over.
